- Supply and installation deposit of 50% to be paid in full before works commence, remaining 50% on completion.

- Chosen materials, at the time of the deposit invoice being sent materials will be in stock however if payment has not been received in time materials may no longer be in stock.
- Payment methods may include bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash and the pursuit of customers who fail to pay on time may lead to professional charges which may be passed on to the customer.
- Any outstanding amounts will attract a 2.5% interest rate per month.
- The materials supplied are the property of Finest Flooring Services Ltd until paid for in full.
- If installation is taking place over a course of weeks, you must pay for the work completed on each room fitted.
- When an order is placed a contract exists between the customer and Finest Flooring Services Ltd. Cancellations are not normally acceptable although in extreme circumstances where the customer cancels with grounds a full refund of the deposit will be made (less any charges for material and works already undertaken). Cancellations made for other reasons will lead to a loss of deposit and charges to the customer for any works already undertaken by Finest Flooring Services Ltd.
- If there is a problem with the fitting the installer will revisit the property and carry out remedial works.
- If there is a fault with the materials an inspection will be arranged to investigate any issues.
- A call out charge for our time can be issued if the fault is not ours.
- Doors and kickboards may need to be trimmed to allow room for your floor covering, this is not a part of the fitting unless this has been specifically agreed.
- If you have opted for the uplift and disposal of old floor coverings the fitter will remove these and packaging from your new floor, however even if this service has been paid for the fitter will only carry this out if the floor covering is not soiled and there is no health and safety risk to the fitter. If you have not opted for this service it is your responsibility to uplift your existing flooring prior to your fitters arrival. Your fitter will only bag up any offcuts from your new flooring and dispose of these.
- Your fitter will not move furniture unless pre-arranged in which case there will be an extra charge, this does not include white or electrical goods, pianos, antiques, please ensure that these items are cleared prior to fitting date to avoid delays. If furniture moving has been arranged please makesure the furniture is empty of items.
- The position of pipe work and wiring in vulnerable places must be drawn to the attention of the fitter. No responsibility is accepted for the accidental damage to cables and pipe work as a consequence of a failure on the customers part in this respect.
- Fitting appointments and estimates are made in good faith, but the exact arrival duration time cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictability of the work involved. We can not accept liability for the delayed arrival of the fitter.
- The fitter will undertake to carry out works with care, however décor may be marked or scuffed during the fitting process. New paint and wallpaper should be allowed to fully dry at least 48 hours before installers arrival. Finest Flooring Services nor any fitter undertake to carry out any redecoration except where damage has been caused by that persons negligence.
- Unless sub floors are visual upon estimation any floor preparation is at the discretion of installer British standards are followed at all times no work will be carried out unless sub floors meet these standards.
- In the event materials have turned up faulty the fitter will inform Finest Flooring Services and materials will be replaced as quickly as possible. You will be contacted by Finest Flooring Services directly and given a new date for works to be carried out.
- We as a company will do our best to ensure your flooring goes down on the installation date/s given however we are not liable for delivery delays, unsafe subfloors, staff illnesses, if any of these do occur we will endeavor to rebook your flooring installation in for as soon as possible.
- Samples should only be used as a guide not an exact match, carpet shades will be reasonably close to the selection made however minor variations may occur. Where colour is critical in most circumstances we can obtain a cutting from the manufacturer/supplier.
- On all carpet some tracking marks will occur in heavy traffic areas during the normal wear life of the carpet.
- Berber/Berber style carpets may contain flecks of colour which can sometimes create a lined effect which may not be apparent on small samples.
- When a new carpet is installed Finest Flooring Services Ltd recommends new underlay as this can increase the life expectancy of the carpet and it’s the only way to meet manufacturers guarantees on carpet.
- All measures are free of charge, however if the customer would like the measurements these can be given at a cost of £30.00 + vat which Finest Flooring Services Ltd will refund if an order is placed.
- A guarantee of 1 year is provided against installation faults.
- A guarantee of 2 years for proven manufacturing defects on all products.
